size chart + measure guide
Generally, the size you wear from other stores is the size that will fit you best at Sugarcloth. Keep in mind, this is a guide not a guarantee.
How To Measure
Bust: Wrap the measuring tape under your arms and comfortably around the fullest part of your bust.
Waist: Wrap the measuring tape around the smallest part of your waist (also known as your natural waistline). Imagine that you have put a large rubber band around your waist. Where would that rubber band land as it rolled along your mid-section?
Hips: Wrap the measuring tape comfortably around the widest part of your hips.
Inseam: Measure from crotch to hemline.
Length of Apparel: Measure from highest shoulder to lowest hemline for tops/dresses and from waistband to hemline for bottoms.
Bags: The height of the bag does not include the handles. The straps' measurements are at its longest adjustment.
Adjustable Items: The measurements we list are usually for an item's largest/longest/roomiest fit. Example: If a tank has adjustable spaghetti straps, we will adjust the straps to reach the longest fit and then measure.
Still confused? Read the item's description. We will do our best to describe the fabric, fit, and features of each garment using words like stretchy, non-stretchy, elastic waistband, adjustable straps, etc.
